Content According to national regulations (DM 249/2010), the single-cycle master's degree program is a unified educational path with a standard duration of 5 years.
Admission requirements for the degree program include a secondary school diploma or another equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable.
To obtain the master's degree, along with the academic qualification of a master's doctor, students must earn 300 CFU (University Educational Credits).
The master's degree in Primary Education Sciences is the only qualification that enables one to become a teacher in kindergarten, primary schools, and CPIA (Provincial Centers for Adult Education).
With a duration of 5 years, this degree program qualifies graduates to teach in kindergarten and primary school, including hospital schools, prison schools, and CPIA (Provincial Centers for Adult Education).
For this reason, the degree program is actively committed to training graduates who are well-qualified in terms of knowledge, skills, and competencies fundamental and functional to the teaching profession (see the Study Plan in the following sections). The degree program is characterized by innovative and dynamic teaching, capable of bridging theoretical and practical dimensions through classroom instruction, laboratory activities, and school internships.
